Sport boost for disabled

For all disabled people over 16, Redditch YMCA is now providing an exciting sports and social club at its centre in Church Hill on Monday evenings from 7.00 - 9.00 p.m. This has been made possible with an Aiming Higher for Disabled Children grant from Worcestershire County Council and Redditch YMCA's partnership with Chadsgrove Specialist Sports College.

The Mencap Benefits survey

The Government will be doing a new test to see who is able to get Disability Living Allowance. Mencap are worried that this may mean some people may not get their allowance because of this. They have sent us information so that all people with learning disabilities and their family carers can get involved as well.
